Almost all major brands have already presented their news for this IFA 2017. However, there is one that we were still waiting for, it is Lenovo, and therefore, Motorola. The Chinese brand has preferred to leave all the mobile section to Motorola, therefore, Lenovo has focused on laptops. Yoga 920 and Yoga 720 are Lenovo’s new computers that continue with the Yoga range that has given them so many successes. On the other hand, we find the Miix 520, a hybrid tablet that comes to compete in a market dominated by Microsoft’s Surface.

The Yoga 920 convertible arrives with a fine and elegant design and with external features that can easily deceive us. Lenovo highlights four aspects: elegant and versatile design, 4K resolution screen, the Lenovo Active Pen 2 pencil and the integration with Cortana. But it has some more remarkable specifications …

  • Intel Core i7 8th generation processor
  • 8 GB, 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM
  • SSD storage of 256 Gb, 512 GB or 1 TB
  • Fingerprint reader
  • 2 ports Thunderbolt USB-C
  • 13.9 inch IPS touch screen UHD (3840 x 2160) or FHD (1920 x 1080)

The Lenovo Yoga 920 is available in four colors : platinum, bronze and copper. The price or date of arrival of the UHD model or the FHD model has not yet been specified. In addition to the Lenovo Active Pen 2 there are other accessories available, such as the leather case or a Yoga Mouse in four different colors.

Yoga 720 as a moderate version and Miix 520 for those who move more

Do you find the Yoga 920 too much (expensive?) For your needs? Lenovo has released a moderate version under the name of Yoga 720. This laptop has a 12-inch screen and weighs 1.15kg, it is one of the smallest and lightest Yoga laptops available today. The screen is limited to FullHD and the rest of the specifications are also downgraded, for example, it uses a seventh generation Intel Core i7. You can see all the specifications in the comparison table with the other two devices.

Miix 520 is the new hybrid tablet from Lenovo. Once again, the brand is betting everything, but in a format for those who need even more mobility. It is also the one that has more versions, depending on the processor, RAM, storage or even connectivity we can configure it to adapt it to our needs. The keyboard itself is included, yes, the Lenovo Digital Pen will have to buy separately. Its starting price for now is not known.
